Squirrel Damage and Fascia Repair in Mountain Brook, AL

Project Overview

A home in the Brookwood Forest neighborhood of Mountain Brook received a needed roof repair to address rotting wood and invasive pest damage. Prior to the project, a gaping hole had compromised the dark asphalt shingles and underlying decking right along the eave line, while adjacent fascia and soffit boards showed significant rot. The damaged decking was rebuilt and secured with GAF storm guard leak barrier to protect the vulnerable transition area above the white K-style gutters. Fresh, color-matched shingles were then integrated into the existing roof, and the rebuilt timber was painted white to match the trim. Fascia and Soffit around the home were inspected and repaired as needed. These completed updates successfully restored the home's weather barrier while preserving its clean, uniform appearance.
