Project Overview

High-gabled rooflines on this brick residence in Brookwood Forest, Mountain Brook received a functional upgrade to protect the home's drainage system. The dark aluminum gutters, which accent the grey architectural shingles and black window frames, were fitted with new gutter guards to keep out falling leaves and debris. This installation extends across multiple roof levels, including the steep dormers on the front facade and the long runs above the side brick walls. Downspouts routing water down the corners near the rear screened-in porch were also cleared and integrated into the protected system. The completed work provides a low-profile solution that preserves the clean lines of the exterior trim.
