Located in the Knollwood neighborhood of Mountain Brook, this white painted brick house underwent a full roof replacement. The old shingles were fully removed, allowing for the installation of new plywood sheathing over the existing horizontal wood roof planks. The work addressed multiple architectural surfaces, combining traditional shingle roofing with low-slope flat roofing sections. New white gutter installation was also completed along the roofline, matching the home's trim and columned front porch entry. The multi-panel skylight array on the rear roof plane was carefully sealed and integrated into the new shingles to ensure long-term weather protection.
