Covered Porch Addition In Cropwell, Alabama

Project Overview

A newly poured concrete slab served as the foundation for this covered porch addition in Cropwell, Alabama. Wooden support posts with diagonal braces were anchored directly to the concrete to secure the overhead structure. On the interior, the open-vaulted ceiling featured exposed pine rafters and matching wood decking panels. The exterior of the new structure was capped with dark shingle roofing that aligned with the main home's existing roofline. This addition built out the backyard living area alongside the home's grey vinyl siding and existing custom decks.
