The Role: Exterior Project Consultant & Sales Specialist
We are expanding our elite field operations team and seeking a motivated Exterior Project Consultant & Sales Specialist in the Greater Birmingham area.
In this role, you will transition away from transactional single-trade selling and act as a comprehensive exterior consultant for our clients. You will manage incoming leads, perform meticulous exterior property inspections, and utilize cutting-edge technology to estimate complete exterior projects from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Property Assessments: Conduct thorough multi-point field evaluations of roofing, siding, windows, and perimeter structures (decks, fencing, retaining walls).
- Consultative Project Estimation: Build detailed, accurate proposals covering multiple construction scopes using our advanced estimation blueprints.
- Lead Generation & Relationship Mapping: Cultivate self-generated opportunities and manage company-provided leads across our 18 target local municipalities.
- Insurance & Storm Restoration Navigation: Guide property owners confidently through the storm damage restoration process following severe weather events.
- End-to-End Client Consultation: Serve as the primary, high-touch point of contact from initial consultation through site setup and final quality walk-through.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, construction, or direct marketing.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to manage field-based appointments and perform roof inspections.
- Strong communication skills with a client-focused attitude.
- Proven ability to self-generate leads and build professional relationships.
- Highly motivated to exceed performance goals in a competitive environment.
