Recent Project: Metal Roof and Custom Deck Transformation at Smith Lake

Project Overview

This dark-gray, log-sided home at Smith Lake in Jasper was updated with a complete roof replacement and a new custom deck. The project featured the installation of gray metal roofing panels across the main home and the new porch roof. The elevated deck was constructed with a covered gable roof featuring an exposed wood truss system and a natural pine tongue-and-groove ceiling. Cable railings with wood top rails were installed around the perimeter of the deck to preserve the views of the surrounding trees. Cedar support beams and dark gray painted vertical columns securely anchored the timber structure.
