Recent Project: Roof Replacement and New Gutters in the Windchase neighborhood, Hoover, AL

Project Overview

The crew is currently harnessed up and pulling off old, weathered shingles on a steep-pitch home over in the Windchase neighborhood. Handling this complex roof replacement in Hoover requires serious attention to detail, especially around the multiple dormers and deep valleys. Right now, the guys are laying down synthetic underlayment and rolling out heavy-duty leak barrier in all the high-stress runoff zones. Patriot Roofing and Builders always does it by the book, so we're inspecting the decking for rot before gunning down the new GAF architectural shingles. Down on the ground, another phase of the project is underway as we cut the aluminum runouts for the new gutter installation. We have plywood staged on the turf to catch the tear-off debris and protect the property while the team finishes nailing off the roof deck.
